GO! is all about living out Jesus’ command in Matthew 28:19-20: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…” When we hear the word “go,” we often picture hopping on a plane to a far-off country—but God’s call to GO is so much more than that.

“Going” means being intentional about sharing Jesus with the people we see every single day. It means loving our neighbors, encouraging our friends, being a light at school, showing kindness at work, and speaking life into our families. Together, students will discover that living on mission is not just a special trip—it’s a LIFE-STYLE. God is calling each of us to step out in boldness, wherever we are, and bring the HOPE of Jesus to everyone we meet.

Our Breakaway Speaker, Trinity Queen, will teach our students practical ways to help them GO into their communities and TELL others about the Jesus that we serve. We are excited for her to take us through the exact same evangelism training that she uses while on tour with her husband, Josiah Queen!

This event will be an amazing time for youth to escape the craziness of school, work, and even life in general– for a FUN 2.5 day event!

You will not want to miss Breakaway 2025!

Listen to the leaders: All students are expected to cooperate and follow the direction of their group leaders, Breakaway staff, and hotel personnel. Failure to comply with directions given could result in the student losing their privilege to be at Breakaway.

Curfew is not optional: No one is to be outside their room or in anyone else’s room after curfew without a leader present. If your group returns to the hotel after curfew, please proceed quietly to your rooms. Shouting, loud talking, slamming doors, running in the halls, etc. should be avoided.

House rules: You need to make sure that you follow and obey all the rules and policies at the hotel. This also applies to the late-night activity locations, restaurants, and malls. Just because, “Your best friend told you to”, doesn’t mean you should do it. Follow the rules at Breakaway.

No trespassing: You are not to be in anyone else’s room without their permission. Make sure that your door closes completely when leaving your room.

The boy/girl thing: Guys are not allowed in girl’s rooms, girls are not allowed in guy’s rooms – PERIOD. The only exception to this is if a group leader wants to do a large-group gathering with their students. There must be adequate leadership supervision.

Find your floor: Do not use the elevators just for fun. Use them to get to your floor and then exit the elevator. There are stairways, please feel free to use them.

No smoking, vaping, alcohol, illegal drugs, or tobacco: These things are not permitted at Breakaway. Students have the opportunity to turn those things in right away to their group leaders and work things out with them.  If students are caught with these items, they will be dismissed from Breakaway and will need to be picked up immediately by a parent or guardian at their own expense, without refund of registration.

You break it, you buy it: Damage to the hotel and its property, Breakaway equipment, band equipment, or property of Central Region Open Bible is not allowed and is the responsibility of those who cause the damage. Individuals/groups will be held responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of damaged items.

Leaders – We ask that you not rent pay-per-view movies in your rooms following late night activities. Our curfew is late and if you rent a movie, you end up staying up until 3:00am or so watching it. This really inhibits students’ ability to get anything out of the services the next day.
