God speaks with a creative strategy of populating the earth physically. However, as our Creator, He created mankind with a body, soul, and spirit. He longs to see His creation come to experience life to the fullest (John 10:10). His heart for fruitfulness and multiplication includes the spiritual dimension. Open Bible Churches is on mission to see individuals and churches experience the life-transforming power of multiplication in disciples, leaders, and churches! We are multipliers! Here is important information on our upcoming 2026 Summits:
2026 SUMMITS – Saturday, March 7, 2026, 10 AM
One event; Four plus host sites
This biennial event brings local church leadership teams together in a location closer to home. Our Summits are an interactive event that includes inspiration, information, and interaction. Presenters will include livestream, live, and video segments centered on the call for Open Bible Churches to MULTIPLY disciples, leaders, and churches. Your church team will have several opportunities to interact about what you as a church can do to take next steps in multiplication.
Being in the same location with other church leadership teams creates a synergy of unity in our mission. You will experience the Power of WE! Each of our affiliated churches have their own unique culture and style; however, we all have the same mission that is Bible-based and Spirit-empowered.We have arranged four host sites – Loves Park, IL; Springfield, MO; Urbandale, IA; Waverly, IA.
If travel to one of our host sites will not work for your church’s leadership team, you will be able to sign up to have the entire event livestreamed to your location.
Registration for our 2026 Summit will begin in early January. Have your team save the date on their calendars and we will soon open registration on our website.

Open Bible Global Missions – The Power of WE!
At our 2025 national convention, President Michael Nortune challenged us to engage in the Power of WE! This means we are all part of the same family or team. So when France plants churches, we win! While we are all planting and watering in our fields, the fruit is recognized as the Power of WE. This year’s Global Harvest offering is designated to Multiply France! Check out this video from Pastor Mark Hornback, Central Region’s Global Missions board member. The Power of WE is the partnership that will help us reach the goal!

Pastor Kayla and Morgan Mehlert, Youth Pastor and Digital Media Assistant at First Open Bible in Cedar Rapids, IA, welcomed Kolter Brooks into their world on November 7, 2025!
Pastor Jeff (Meggan) Lockington, was elected to serve as Senior Pastor of Liberty Life Center in Sedalia, MO. He begins as a staff pastor December 1, 2025, as he works a transition plan with Pastors Gary and Linda Smith who will finish their service at LLC at the end of December. Then Jeff will begin serving as Senior Pastor January 1, 2026.
