The growth and development of our pastors and church members in both discipleship and leadership is a high priority for Open Bible Central. The old axiom, “Speed of the leader, speed of the team,” is true, and we want to have leaders who are setting the pace for our churches and communities. Listed below are several opportunities for discipleship, training, and ongoing education offered through Open Bible Churches:

Harvest Bible Institute

Harvest Bible Institute is a School of Ministry, in the Bible Institute tradition, which is Biblically accurate, academically challenging, intentionally hands-on, and purposefully affordable.  HBI exists to train and equip Bible Based, Gospel Centered, Spirit Empowered, and Family Focused servant leaders called to the five-fold ministry who will love, edify, and stimulate the local Church to fulfill the Great Commission (Ephesians 4:11-13, Matthew 28:18-20).  HBI is a place to cultivate dreams and prepare servants for the call of God. INSTE

INSTE is an accredited distance education program that allows students to receive quality Bible and leadership training in the context of their local church. The mission of INSTE is to “foster excellence in knowledge, ministry, and character-knowing, doing and being.” INSTE materials are produced in Spanish and English, as well as several other languages. New Hope Christian College

New Hope Christian College, located in Eugene, Oregon, is a four-year Christian college that serves as the official affiliated Bible college for Open Bible Churches. New Hope offers degree programs in five key areas: Theology, Ministry Leadership, Creative Arts & Technology, Business & Ethics, and General Education.
