Trip Overview:

The mission trip to Nogales, Mexico will take place along the U.S.-Mexico border, where our team will partner with long-time missionary Del Brown, an Open Bible missionary with more than 20 years of ministry experience in the region. Del has built strong, trusted relationships throughout the community and regularly hosts teams, providing a well-established and impactful ministry environment. Nogales serves as a strategic location for outreach, with opportunities to minister across a wide range of settings including orphanages, rehab centers, churches, schools, and local neighborhoods.

Our mission team will consist of 19 students and 6 adult staff members. Throughout the week, students will engage in a variety of ministry opportunities designed to stretch and grow their faith. Outreach efforts will include street ministry through skits, testimonies, and prayer, as well as leading Vacation Bible School (VBS) for children. The team will also have opportunities to serve in local ministries, encourage individuals in rehab centers, and partner with churches to support ongoing outreach efforts. Each day will provide meaningful, hands-on experiences that allow students to actively share the love of Jesus.

For accommodations, our team will stay in a hotel in Mexico that Del Brown regularly uses to host mission groups. This setup provides a safe and familiar environment for teams, with established routines and logistics already in place. Transportation throughout the week will be coordinated to ensure the team can safely and efficiently travel to each ministry location.

In addition to ministry opportunities, there will also be time built into the trip for students to enjoy the experience and culture of the area. Toward the end of the trip, we plan to include a fun day with opportunities for souvenir shopping and team activities, allowing students to reflect, celebrate what God has done, and build lasting memories together.

Overall, this mission trip to Nogales will provide students with a powerful combination of ministry, cultural engagement, and spiritual growth. Through serving others, stepping outside of their comfort zones, and working alongside experienced leaders, students will have the opportunity to deepen their faith and make a lasting impact in the lives of others!
