REGIONAL RESTRUCTURE

In last month’s newsletter I outlined the process our regional leadership team went through to develop a new strategic plan for the next decade of ministry. We will give concentrated focus to the following three ministry initiatives:

  • NOW Healthy Churches
  • NEXT Generation Leaders
  • NEW Church Plants

We are committed to adjust our calendar, budget, and staff to see all three of these initiatives accomplished as we move Open Bible Central forward. As we embrace those initiatives, we have to let go of other good things that we have given time and finances to in the past. It is a new season for the region and so we have made the decision to conclude the Radiant Women’s annual conference. This event began in a district and grew over time to become a regional event. We say thank you to quality and capable women who have helped lead this ministry- Pam Lumbard, Jaccie Kenyon, Robin Pfadenhauer, and Sarah Holsapple.

Sarah Holsapple, our current Radiant leader, has led with excellence and demonstrated her heart for women in every event she has led since 2017. With the COVID challenges this past year, Sarah and her team were able to lead a virtual conference which had 400 participants. We will be honoring Sarah at The GATHERING in September.

A Word from Sarah Holsapple-

It has been my honor to serve as the Radiant Women’s Director for Central Region. It has been both a meaningful and memorable life experience and I have valued gathering together and watching women as they made choices to live more authentically, to sharpen, challenge, love and inspire one another. Seeing women connect with both God and one another and supporting each other’s spiritual growth has truly been a blessing to my heart. I have treasured the Radiant team’s commitment, support and friendship as we’ve served the region together over the years. I pray that you continue to pursue Jesus for life, grow deep roots of faith, and walk strong in the midst of a world that is constantly changing. May the Lord receive the glory in all we say and do!

Leading NOW, NEXT, and NEW with you,

Bruce A. Pfadenhauer, Central Region Director
