We conducted our Biennial Business Meeting during THE GATHERING in September and it was my joy to announce that the state of the region is strong thanks to our staff who work hard to accomplish our mission and healthy leaders and local churches making a difference at the frontlines of ministry. Another area of strength is our very capable board comprised of great men and women who serve the region with me. This week our board is meeting in our war room. It is located in the lower level of our office and is a special place where we begin each day with worship, Word, and prayer. These are significant times of connecting with God. There are a lot of business and administrative details to manage, as well as hearing from our ministry directors as we strategize the future of Central Region. We receive updates on churches and pastors throughout the region and Open Bible College. On our final day together, we will interview twelve new credential applicants. I would ask that as we are meeting and praying for you, that you in turn lift up our board members and meetings in prayer.

Delores Rae Moe, mother of Pastor Rick (Robin) Moe, Austin, MN, passed away on October 12, 2024. A memorial service was held on October 18, 2024. Here is a link to Delores Rae Moe’s obituary.
William Wright, father of Pastor Linda (Gary) Smith in Sedalia, MO, passed away in early October. A memorial service will be held at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in California on November 8, 2024.
