Youth Leaders’ Retreat
An event focused on preparing youth leaders for the challenges and opportunities of this vital ministry. Full-time youth pastors, bi-vocational, volunteer, and key youth leaders will be joined by guest speakers who specialize in the training and development of those in this very important ministry.
This year we will help you understand and capitalize on your specific strengths to maximize what you are doing and propel your youth ministry forward.
RADIANT Women’s Conference
Ladies from around the region gather for this conference to receive a word from the Lord, worship together, and connect in relationships. The conference occurs on Friday evening and Saturday through noon enabling ladies to close their conference experience with lunch together and an afternoon of shopping.
This upcoming conference will be held at the Coralville Marriott, Coralville, IA.
Youth Mission Trip
The goal of each youth mission trip is to connect the students with the world around them by providing an opportunity to serve in a very practical way. As a participant, you can expect a safe adventure where you may be asked to step out of your comfort zone to help others hear about the love of Jesus. Your faith will grow and your heart will expand as you learn about another culture. You will be changed by seeing God transform the lives of people.
This year we are taking a team to Cuba where Open Bible has a strong presence. Cuban leaders are looking for young missionaries to support the work that God is doing.
Camp is a time to stop everything you are doing and spend some quality time with God and your friends. Your regular schedule is set aside and instead, we fill your days with great activities, fun games, high energy worship, and amazing speakers that will challenge you to take the next step toward God. We host this event at Central College in Pella, IA.
Open Bible Central Kids’ Camp is designed specifically for children who have completed 2nd through 5th grades. We provide structured activities in a safe environment, giving kids the opportunity for lots of fun. More importantly, we provide opportunities in both large and small group settings for kids to encounter God personally. We host this event at Wildwood Hills Ranch in St. Charles, IA.
This KidsMin conference is designed to provide resources, training, and development opportunities for the entire Kids’ Ministry of your church. We invite top rated pastors and trainers from around the country to teach us practices that will develop the Kids’ Ministry and have a lasting impact on each child we encounter. This event occurs on Friday evening and Saturday, closing by mid-afternoon.
Fall Leaders’ Retreat
Our Fall Leaders’ Retreat has proven to be a highly valued event designed to give you an appointed time and place for interaction, instruction, and inspiration. This year we will gather at Lied Lodge in Nebraska City, NE. You will enjoy world-class indoor spaces to open-air vistas on this 260-acre campus. Plan to join us for this two-day, two-night getaway. If you need more time away, we can arrange extra nights on either end of the event.
Breakaway is designed to work in conjunction with Youth Camp. It is half a year away and used as a time to pull middle and high school students out of daily life to focus on their relationship with God. Through powerful worship and dynamic speakers, the services will challenge everyone to pursue God more completely.
We usually take over most of the rooms of a hotel for the event. There are breakout sessions and free time during the days, services in the evening, and late night activities. Oftentimes we complete a service project as a part of the Breakaway experience. This event occurs between Christmas and the New Year.
